Running A Marathon To Raise Funds for Prostate Cancer

Mar 12, 2023

Ross Lee, prostate cancer survivor, is on a mission to raise funds for prostate cancer and he needs our support

Are Prostate Cancer Statistics Reliable?

Ross will be running the London Marathon in April this year to raise funds for PCaHELP and Prostate Cancer UK.

Ross was diagnosed with cancer and had his prostate removed in 2021.

According to Ross, he's thankful that:

  • his GP recognised the early warning signs
  • he was given access to pre/post op advice on both sexual health & physio for bladder control
  • his surgeon was extremely skilled and used up to date robotic techniques for the procedure.

These factors encouraged and enabled his to take timely action, deal with the cancer and regain his quality of life.

Ross: "Not all men are this fortunate and we need to change this."

Hi is returning to marathon running to help fund ongoing lifesaving research and raise money to allow PCaHELP to promote early detection and management of prostate cancer as well as offering support and relief for those and their families in the WA community who are already suffering.
