Who is PCaHELP

PCaHELP is a not-for-profit association run entirely by volunteers to provide information to men and their families affected by prostate cancer and to help promote, educate, mentor and inform prostate cancer support groups.

The purpose of PCaHELP is to benefit the community through assisting prostate cancer support groups in their efforts to provide relief for people suffering from prostate cancer, and to promote the early detection, management and ultimately prevention of prostate cancer through education and awareness.
We want to make more men aware of the risk of developing this disease and how they can monitor it. We want to better help those newly diagnosed men and their partners cope with the minefield of options that face them. That is what we believe a support group is all about.

We believe conversations can save lives and with the support of a great volunteer base we believe we have a mission to save as many lives as possible. PCaHELP will also ultimately provide the necessary vessel to inspire, encourage and support all those men who tirelessly work for the betterment of our health futures.
OUR VISION
That prostate cancer support groups be widely recognised, promoted, supported and valued for the benefits they bring to the community in the prevention and management of adverse health conditions associated with prostate cancer diseases and life-disrupting events.

PCaHELP Strategic Directions 2022-2025

"To know the road ahead ask those coming back."

Support groups are small communities of men and women who have been affected by prostate cancer.
They are often either dealing with a current diagnosis of cancer or are survivors of cancer.
They meet on a regular basis to help each other, discuss shared experiences and learn more about the disease and how to manage it.
